I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with LIBERTY and JUSTICE FOR ALL”.

June 14th - Flag Day distinguished with sharing the wedding anniversaries of parents, friends, friend’s parents, relatives and yes...OURS! That’s rightmine and Uncle Ed’s! I am sure I was aware and there in person on our Wedding Day, which subsequently has led to anniversaries. When I mention the word anniversary I tend to reference “My Anniversary”. Flag Day comes close to Fathers Day, so Uncle Ed gets “grassed up” (British slang - look it up…really , I kid you not),

about “My Anniversary “ and the gloss over of Fathers Day - which you know is a non-truth. It is OUR Anniversary. WE were present in the positive, productive, loving sense along side family, friends and surely some non-friends.

Anniversary - a funny word huh? The recognition of the word Anniversary could become synonymous with a celebrated Yoga Pose. Being aware while patriotically waving the American Flag…Right???

Possibly a meaningful anniversary takes a work in. Much in the same way yoga practice takes a work in. Being aware and not just presenting with Presenteeism - I know, what the hell does that mean?

Presenteeism defined- 1. The practice of being present at one's place of work for more hours than is required, especially as a manifestation of insecurity about one's job: "one of the general symptoms of employee insecurity is presenteeism" Namaste Ways. (Some yoga since this is a yoga blog…LOL). We could benefit from taking an awaring anniversary breath, flying the American Red White and Blue. “We” do fly American. American Airlines WE LOVE YOU. I digress.

Remembering the positives of the opportunities offered living and working in the great old USA. We get “grassed up”, miss being aware and wrap in Presenteeism. Place your right hand on your heart. Become aware and say aloud “I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, One Nation, under God, indivisible, with LIBERTY and JUSTICE FOR ALL”. June 14th-Anniversary Awareness. Namaste Ways One Nation under God with LIBERTY and JUSTICE FOR ALL!

Happy Anniversary to my handsome, amazing, loving and caring husband Ed or “Uncle Ed…as everyone calls him!” Namaste Ways.
