LIKE A SHINING ORNAMENT

"All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth"

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth My two front teeth, see my two front teeth Gee, if I could only have my two front teeth Then I could wish you, Merry Christmas It seems so long since I could say "Sister, Susie sittin' on a thistle" Gosh, oh gee, how happy I'd be If I could only whistle.

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth.... you know how that song goes, right? How kind those words sound... Christmas-kindness, love, warmth, non-judgmental, sharing, caring thoughts, processes, and actions. Sounds very similar to yoga practice thoughts, processes and actions.

Yoga helps the yogini rejuvenate and focus on kindness to others and self.. No, not buying items for others and self that sink your debt ratio into national deficit proportions. Rejuvenation of innocence,

beginning once again while remembering the meaning of Christmas to you and your family.

Side note-do you remember when you were in a Christmas pageant either at church or at school? My grandparents were determined that at about 3 years of age I would know my line for my part in the Christmas pageant. The line, wait for it was.....“Like a Shining Ornament”. We practiced that line as if it was an Olympic sport and the USA reputation was at stake.

Finally, the Christmas pageant night arrived... (I was not the only child in the pageant). I took the stage looked into the glaring movie camera spotlight and pronounced “LIKE A SHINING ORNAMENT”. My grandparents Christmas pageant joy usurped their actions as they stood, cheered, clapped and whistled with fervor in excitement that I had nailed the OLYMPIC line. They cheered so fervently that I don’t think anybody heard the child after me or maybe even three children after me. My grandparents innocently, and kindly, really

wanted to share their rejuvenation in Christmas and what Christmas meant to their family. The joke in our family is... LIKE A SHINING ORNAMENT. No doubt, you too have your family Christmas pageant stories and memories. No doubt, you may have yoga kindness rejuvenation stories, memories and future plans.

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth... so I can wish you ALL MERRY CHRISTMAS. Namaste Ways Like A Shining Ornament. Let YOUR ornaments SHINE. Namaste Ways.
