ONE’S PERSON’S TRASH IS ANOTHER’S TREASURE

Updated: Jul 13, 2020

Clutter..... clutter, clutter everywhere and there is very little to spare. One person’s clutter is another person‘s treasure... Or Is that ones person’s trash is another’s treasure? Clutter- trash, spare.... Nothing to spare....what does clutter/trash mean to you and how does clutter or trash happen?

A collection of multiple items that build a life of their own appearing in closets, drawers, kitchen cabinets, shelves, minds and multiple additional resting places. Do you have or have you had clutter or is it trash? Trash, rubbish, garbage, clutter - positive for you, non-positive for you. Which is it, both? You know, those items that we think we need, may need, could need, someone else may need, want to need, or of which we are just unable to turn loose. Clutter may appear as physical

items, or as thoughts upon thoughts, upon thoughts, upon thoughts. This clutter clouds clarity, jumbles perfectionism, creates paralysis toward forward motion, permits procrastination and stifles ones ability to simplify.

I can see clearly now the rain is gone.... I can see all the obstacles in my way. Yoga practice helps to clear clutter of the mind, relieves paralysis of movement, permits creativity of YOUR pose version, and simplifies inhalation and exhalation. Boom - clutter gone...right? If only....Now, sometimes the procrastination piece is how clutter begins... we collect items that are too difficult to explore or examine shoving the items into a holding spot. The holding spot gets larger and buried, and then buried again.... Clutter or is that trash, rubbish or garbage which is in your closet or in your mind. Whatever the term this is YOURS.... how you simplify, relieve paralysis of movement, un-stifle procrastination, examine and explore breath is also YOURS.

Declutter your mind with one yoga session per week. Your closet, shelf or drawers may take another session, start with your mind declutter, the rest will follow... and if it doesn’t happen immediately, your mind can sing…I can see clearly now the rain is gone. I can see all the obstacles in my drawers. Hahahaha! Namaste Ways Clutter, Namaste Ways.
