“Being kind contributes to making others happy. But according to a University of Warwick study, happiness made people about 12 percent more productive. So being kind isn’t just an ethical thing to do; it’s also good for business” Alex Cooper April 6, 2019
Several years ago a friend of mine and I attended a Happiness workshop. For 8 plus hours inclusive of lunch we connected with about 20 others submerged in Happiness maximizing our psychological capital for success with Jessica Pryce-Jones.
Happiness. You have heard the phrase “most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be”. Yes, I know that sentence grammatically does not cut the mustard...Mustard, hot dog, ballpark, cold beer, fans, blah…blah. Major League Baseball is back in play for now with the addition of virtual fans.
“There was ease in Casey's manner as he stepped into his place; there was pride in Casey's bearing and a smile on Casey's face. And when, responding to the cheers, he lightly doffed his hat, no stranger in the crowd could doubt 'twas Casey at the bat”.
Casey at the Bat, poem by Ernest L. Thayer, a setting for concert band and narrator by Randol Alan Bass. Alfred Publishing Co., Inc., 2008 Casey at the bat cannot believe it. (I do not care for hot
dogs, cold beer or others in the stands so virtual on all of these items is fine with me). How about with you?
